Anger is Loves Dissapointment

I walk into the room; a cloud of smoke so thick it looks like fog hangs in the air, escaping for just a moment through the open door. A bass player is quickly plucking his fingers across the strings as a cat like rhythm filters itself through the air. Three ladies dressed all in black, slender with long hair sit snapping their fingers to the beat while sipping a mocha flavored drink. Joel, a man who has come to call me a regular, waves from behind the counter across the room. I walk over, each time feeling the puff of air under my foot being compressed back down to the floor. The room is lit in low blues and royal reds, adding to the mysterio

Seasons of LoveSummer raced in  
took my heart and did great things  I remember being happy  
 
I remember being scared for Fall  I knew more than just the leaves would change

SnowI watched from my bedroom window  on the second story of my war torn home  as the purest white snow flakes  danced instead of fell  
from the afternoons uninviting gray sky   
They tumbled and twirled almost  
as if in delight  one even ventured towards me to do  a perfect back flip before  continuing down   
For a moment  I smiled,  
the second time today,  
thinking maybe things weren't all bad  and dissolved into the background  like melted snow  on the cold black concrete. Snow

It may be the end of January, but for me, things are just beginning again. I started to write, and write I shall continue. I miss my prose, my poetry, I miss reading what people contribute.

Writing is where my heart is, its where I remember how to feel.


So if you'll have me, I'd like to check back in.
